INSPIRATION coordinator Stephan Bartke (German Environment Agency) participated in the FACCE-JPI and EU DG AGRI co-organised event “International soil research: Opportunities for synergy and cooperation with FACCE-JPI”. This half day meeting was held as a side event of the DG Agri conference “Designing the path: a strategic approach to EU agricultural research and innovation”, which assembled over 500 participants including scientists, relevant science networks, stakeholders, International organisations and authorities.
The FACCE-JPI side event was attended by around 75 participants, representing many European and international research activities on soil, which made this event a unique networking opportunity for leading international stakeholders on soil-related research. Also INSPIRATION was glad to be given the opportunity to introduce the project to this audience and establish further strategic contacts.
