International Space Science Institute (ISSI) White Paper on Observing and Modeling Coastal Areas

Following the Scientific Forum on Observing the Evolution of Coastal Zones by Satellite Remote Sensing, organized by the International Space Science Institute on 11 and 12 October 2016 in Bern, a white paper was published.

This document, entitled "Monitoring the evolution of coastal zones under various forcing factors using space-based observing systems", identifies the needs for observation and modeling of coastal areas and examines the current contributions of remote sensing (space and airborne).
