The “special report on climate change, desertification, land degradation, sustainable land management, food security, and greenhouse gas fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems” was prepared for participants at the SR2 Scoping Meeting, Dublin, February 2017.
This background documentation provides a summary of the available knowledge from previous IPCC reports and other relevant sources to act as a foundation upon which to build discussion at the Expert Scoping Meeting.
